Delete your Pretake data
Permanently erase the data linked to your Pretake install.
If you still have the app
Open Settings → Delete everything. This removes your conversations, imports, profiles, saved drafts and install token from the app and our active server database.
Delete server data with a code
Enter the private deletion code you saved from Settings → Copy deletion code. Codes expire after seven days. Creating a new code replaces the previous one.
This erases the server’s copy of your install record, profiles, conversations, AI reply reports and subscription references. It cannot remotely erase files on your phone. To remove those too, use Delete everything in the app or clear Pretake’s app storage in Android settings.
No code or no access to the app?
Email privacy@getpretake.com with the subject “Pretake data deletion request”. We will help identify what can be removed. Please do not email chat exports, payment details or your private deletion code.
Pretake uses a random install token instead of a name, email or sign-in. Without the app or a saved code, we may be unable to identify your server record from an email address alone. We will explain any limits when handling your request.
Subscriptions and retention
Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel through Google Play subscriptions or your Apple Account subscriptions.
Deletion removes the records from our active database immediately. Encrypted automatic database backups can retain earlier records for up to seven days before they expire. Safety counters may remain without user or conversation identifiers and contain no message text. Apple and Google retain their own payment records under their policies. Files you originally imported remain wherever you saved them.
